With the slow return to post-Covid holidays I think I speak for everyone when I say my holiday wardrobe needs some serious updating. However, for me and my online shopping habit I’m far more likely to enjoy a staycation than a vacation but I can live through you. Here is my guide to holiday dressing organized by destination…

South Beach, Miami

South Beach – from celebrity spotting in the famous club scene to roller skating on Ocean Drive, South Breach has plenty to offer as a holiday destination such a young vibrant place deserves a matching wardrobe.
I think the key to dressing for South Beach is gaudy chic think Malibu barbie if she modelled for Gucci. However, be careful there is a fine-line between ironic high fashion tacky and just plain tacky (that being said I’ve been on both sides of the line and they’re both quite fun). To stay chic while keeping the fun OTT look I’d go for a modern take on Y2K, look to Blumarines SS22 beachy take on noughties fashion for inspiration – think pink, rimless sunglasses, rhinestones, floaty ruffle shirts & contrasted with relaxed denim shorts.

A great fit for this Aesthetic is 90’s Chanel style terry cloth beach sets in candy/pastel shades very OTT & Paris Hilton while still having a relaxed, put together look.

This look pairs perfectly with statement sunglasses – as someone with over 30 pairs of sunglasses I’m totally biased but I believe they complete any outfit. I prefer oversized statement sunglasses as opposed to mini sunnies – i think they’re more flattering and i am desperate for a pair of ‘Marc Jacobs Butterfly Sunglasses’.
TIP: For a put together look choose sunglasses in the same tones as your outfit.

Ibiza, Spain

Think less of lads holidays & hangovers, Ibiza in later years has a far more grown up image.. well fashion wise anyways. Dance the night away in my top picks for party wear.
Ibiza’s iconic club scene – from a night you’ll never forget in pacha to a night you’ll never remember in amnesia the outfit is always the most important part of the night out. I’d go for voluminous mini dresses, chic & light while still being eye catching and unique. I’d go for a fabric like tulle that’ll move fabulously while dancing.
Brands to look for : Selkie, Brogano, Lexi, Annie’s of Ibiza

Tassel sequin dresses are also fitting, perfect for twirling and will catch the disco lights flawlessly. I’d pair with 70’s platforms to bring in the disco influence but leave the rest of the look simple to let the dress speak for itself.

Metallics are not just for the night, pair laid-back swimwear with sequins, lamé & chainmail to catch the Spanish sun, it looks edgy but effortless.

Lake Cuomo, Italy

For the romantic Italian setting who better to take inspiration from than Sophia Loren, 50’s style monochromatic bikinis layered under oversized men’s shirts with equally oversized sunglasses maybe throw in a silk scarf for good measure.
With styling I’d over-accessorise à la 90’s Chanel and pair a simple bikini in black and white with Pearl necklaces, chain belts & arms full or bracelets in matching or complimentary colours.
For makeup I’d go minimal + smoky eyeliner and for hair I’d go for messy Brigette Bardot style updos to dress the look down and give it a more edgy look to clash with the formal accessories.

Verbier, Switzerland

As someone who has not and will not ever ski – why someone would hurtle down a mountain on two planks of wood is beyond me, I can still appreciate the fashion.
The top of my winter holiday Wishlist is the Chloe x Fusalp 70s inspired ski-suit (bottom right) I love it my one concern is I’d probably wear it all year round. A 70’s vibe is a great way to approach ski wear: flared ski pants, oversized collars & shearling (especially the Chanel shearling ski boots!).
Brands to look for: my Sunday Ski, Fusalp, Moncler, Rossignol & Dioralps

For off the slopes look try 80s style statement knitwear think Princess Diana In the alps. Pair with an oversized scarf in a matching tone. For an extra pop of colour try bright gloves especially pradas purse gloves I love them so much! My favourite colour combos to try with this look atm are pink and orange & red and pink.
